Our Dexter Topside is the classic Sunday roasting joint the perfect marriage of fine-grained texture and intense flavour. It's a lean and tender cut taken from the long, inner muscle of the cow's thigh. Topside can be cooked as a roast and left pink in the middle or even be slow cooked to melt in the mouth tenderness. The grass diet produces flavourful fats that are also healthier and meat that is naturally high in valuable nutrients that include zinc and iron, phosphorous, potassium, and sodium. Our Dexter beef is also high in beta-carotene, vitamin E, catalase, glutathione, and superoxide dismutase, which are all good anti-oxidants.
